Carp Chelsea - Aug 1

I was going to do 100 tabata pull ups, but I walked over to the bars today without any tape - and I was determined not to tear my hands here today ... again. Which is okay, just forced me to do what I dread - Cindy's impatient big sister. Note to self: Chelsea first, then hamburger and sampler at Rincon after. Oh, and second note to self: The red at Rincon is what you want but always forget.

10 rounds in 15 mins. If I remember correctly, I went 5 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off, 1 on, 1 off... Everything felt doable, the minutes just seemed short. When I failed, it was by 1 or 2 squats. 

Afterward, I didn't feel so great though. Work capacity is definitely down.

100 Pull ups - Feb 16

Tabata pulls on my favorite bar. 27 rounds of 4's and some 3's. Taped up like crazy, only to have one of the loops tear right in half halfway through the session. Soldier on, didn't rip.
13 mins.

Afterwards, had a beer - first one since, I don't know, summer? The ice water was what really satisfied. Just ordered the beer because it was Sunday and it was old habit, I guess. And, although this looks like we're by the train tracks having an Island Brewing rancidness, it's a Hoppy Poppy from Figueroa.

8 hours - 2130/0630. 13 minutes total, PE: 8. 24 hours.

Carp Beach Circuit - Apr 2

Still LOVE this pull up station.

6 rounds in .30 on 1.05 - 30 RI with a 5 sec grip up
Pulls (10s-7)
Horz under bar pulls (10s)
Air squats (25s)
Push ups (25s-20s)
... one more round of pulls, just for you know, good measure on deload week.
