S Run - Bike Path Berms - Apr 11

Out and back with a few accelerations to Yokuts. 10 glides-to-hilltops there by the drinking fountain. Easy does it, not going to aggravate the achilles.
On the return, grabbed a couple cinder blocks and Ranger shuffled with them on my shoulders (mostly, they didn't feel good at all, in any position).

Thought gas would be the limiting factor. In fact, I didn't think I was going to be able to do this one as Rx'ed. But I did, and the weak link was grip (second was mental weakness). Had to partition the last two chins, and the last one dead, just because the hands weren't holding. ... Nice having the warning time to grip up. Also serves as a moment to talk to oneself. Go, damn you.

Really didn't feel like this today after a really early morning, long drive and longer day getting SocialMedia hammered into my head. But the hotel has never won one. And never shall.

5 times up Pickwick in Cambria in 1.25 on 4.00 ... last one was so hard, I simply had to do a 6th. In 1.31, which tells me it might've stayed in the tank. But.

Left achilles is still giving me static.

Ca - Hourglass Hammer Time - Apr 2

All on 35 secs per ... an extra 5 secs for travel time. Wasn't enough. Had to shut off the timer a couple of times to get a blow. Cleans felt light, the presses light. It's always the gas with those things. Knocked out all the dips unbroken (not that big a deal, but easier than the last time I did bar dips on 10!). Still working on the pull ups, 6's are better than 5's.
Next time, maybe it's ten 2 minute rounds.
