NEN & stuff - July 31

Shuffling what would have been a long M day to the weekend, this will supplant Sunday's AR day. NEN called for 100 squats, 100 jumping jacks for time. Sounded like a "ha!" workout, but it took 4.00 and I went into buttlock. Some jump rope, 5 sets of chin ups, then cashed out with 3 static stands with the slosh pipe.

Random Wa - July 30

Gladly, God is Lord of the generator. Dread upon entering the gym, thoughts of subbing out the sumo hi pulls. Providentially, all exercises came up with 2 set volume. 2 Mt. Climbers (and GHD), 2 Press/Hi Pulls (95#), 2 thrusters (to sub out for Wall balls - Dynamax, here I come). Perfect timing, perfect workout for today.

AR day - July 29

The generator called for 5 leg curls (110#) and I cashed out with the NEN - 10 200m runs with 10 squats/10 push ups. After a .5 mi warm up, it was a 22 minute moderate intensity ordeal. Traps are fried from yesterday.

I'm writing this here so I don't forget it.

Here's a golden rule: When programming your workouts have at least 1 strength training a week & no more than 1 chipper a week!

Okay, so now you know.

Oh yeah, and Fitness = increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains.

Deltoilicious - July 28th

Buy in with bar only 21-15-9 OV squat.
Then as RX'ed with 95#; 8 rounds with one minute to spare and no will to do the thrusters and quit. Thrusters and the Hang cleans, then drop the bar for 30 secs, do the Hi pulls then dump for another 30. It worked that way through the 6th round. Freaking gassed. I could do better. ...I could do better not if I was in better shape, but if I could dig deeper. The will gets trained as much as the meat.

2200 - 0330 - overtrained, overthinking. 217/11.
